A little help
for your round.

Common questions

How do I start my first round?

Choose 3, 4, or 5 players. In Manage Courses, search online or add a course manually, then review all 18 pars and handicap indexes for your tees. Select your golfers and enter each course handicap from 0 to 54. Choose 9 or 18 holes; for 9, choose front or back. Tap Start Round when the setup is complete.

How are points calculated?

Enter gross strokes for each golfer. Course handicaps and the hole’s handicap index determine net scores. From lowest to highest net score, 3 players receive 4-2-0 points, 4 receive 6-4-2-0, and 5 receive 8-6-4-2-0. Ties split the points for the places they occupy. Older rounds without course information keep their original gross-scoring behavior.

Can I correct scores or handicaps?

Yes. Open an already-saved hole to correct its gross scores. During a course-handicap round, Correct Handicaps lets you adjust a golfer’s handicap and confirm the change; played holes are recalculated. This does not alter unrelated completed rounds. Completed rounds allow corrections to saved holes, but not new unplayed holes.

What if my course is missing or the online details are wrong?

Online coverage varies. You can add a course manually or edit a saved course. Check the pars and handicap indexes against the scorecard for your tees: all 18 pars are required, and handicap indexes must use each number from 1 through 18 exactly once. Course edits affect future rounds, not the snapshot in an existing round.

Does the app work offline?

Yes, once a course is saved. Your roster, saved courses, scoring, history, and bundled celebration videos are local. You only need the internet when using online course search. There is no account or automatic cross-device sync.

How do I save a scorecard to Photos?

Finish the round, then use Save to Photos in Final Standings or the full completed scorecard. The same option is available for archived rounds. Allow add-only Photos access when prompted. If you previously declined, change the permission for Easy-6-4-2 in iPhone Settings. The app never reads your existing photos.

How do I show birdie circles and bogey squares?

Open Settings and turn on “Highlight birdies and bogies on scorecard.” It starts off. When enabled, circles show gross birdies, squares show gross bogies, and double outlines show eagles or better and double bogies or worse. This also applies to saved scorecard images and does not change scoring.

What does the martini marker mean?

It marks the lowest round-total points, including ties. During play, it shows the current position; in final standings and golfer history, it shows the final result. It does not identify just the last hole. You can hide it in Settings without changing any scores.

Where are my rounds stored?

On the iPhone where you play. There is no app-operated cloud backup or account-based recovery. Removing the app can remove its local data, so save any scorecard images you want to keep. Apple device backups are managed separately through your device settings.
